Attendees who would like to enter bikes in the show must be registered and set up by 10am. Judging will begin at 10am.
Ok folks, here we go. Please read this in its entirety as there are lots of important details.
This is pre-registration for the Old School BMX Reunion & Show, June 6th 2009 at Peck Park in Arcadia, California.
Important information on the "BIKE SHOW" component of the event:
Only people who register will be eligible for honors and the awards. ALSO... only people who register will be able to vote for bikes.
Registration allows you to enter up to 3 bikes. If you wish to enter more, they will be subject to an additional surcharge of $5 and this would cover up to 4 additional bikes for judging.
Anyone can come and set up ALL their bikes for free. BUT... if you want your bike(s) to be in the show and eligible for votes and awards... you must register. And the awards are AMAZING this year. The days of plaques are gone. We will unveil the new standard in OS-BMX awards at this event. This will truly be a bike show award that is worthy of the effort and excellence that characterizes the winning bikes. There will be winners selected by a judging panel as well as a "people's choice" award. 10 classes in all.
Pre-Registration is only $28.00** this year! In a year when people are tightening their belts financially speaking, we are also trying to make all this easier for you. This is over 20% savings on last year's registration fee. We are doing our sincere best to keep costs down and keeping the excellence level pegged to maximum.
**There is a surcharge for shirt sizes 3x and above. Should be automatically tallied by the drop down menu below.
REGISTRATION INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:
- Light Breakfast (pastries, muffins) & Premium Coffee or some juice
- Event T-shirt (and it is a beauty this year!)
- Bike Tags for up to 3 show bikes (more are allowed but subject to surcharge)
- Ballot to vote on your favorite in the bike show
- Event Laminate
- entry into prize drawings
- I also have a limited number of commemorative promo posters for the event.
As anyone can attest that has ever been to one of this site's events... the Old School BMX Reunion & Show is truly BMX nirvana. You see the best bikes, hangout with the coolest like minded people, rub elbows with the stars of racing, freestyle and the industry and to top it all off... We'll have a world class freestyle show with legends of the past and future shredding ramps and flatland for OS-BMX. It's a really important day for people who relish BMX culture. You will enjoy it. That's a guarantee.
*Please note that we are forgoing organized lunch this year. Lunch trucks are coming and there are some grills built into the park that people can cook out on, and a lot of us will be bringing coolers stocked with munchies and drinks. Come prepared with plenty of drinking water. It will almost certainly be a sunny so-cal day, so stay hydrated and happy.
Also... bring sun screen for you and your kids. This is a family friendly event. All are welcome, but please keep an eye on your kids and don't let them get jelly on somebody's $500 og pad set, or knock over a row of priceless builds.

Pre-reg mail ins must be post marked on or before May 18th! That gives you a little over one week to do so.
What is the advantage of pre-registration? Well it REALLY helps us better prepare for the size of the crowd and we appreciate it. However, it is also a better value. Registering the day of the event at the park will be more costly. Some components of the registration package will be available separately the day of the event BUT they will be subject to availability. I don't like to overstock... I prefer to sell out, and we always do... so please bear in mind that the way to guarantee that you get the things you want and at a discount is to register in advance.

Thank you. Please pick up your registration packet the morning of June, 6th at Peck Park.
The event will open at 8:30 am. People taking part in the judged bike show must pick up their registration pack and have their bikes set up for judging by 10am. The bikes will be judged from 10am to 12pm. The people's choice ballots must be submitted by 12:30 pm or before.
Votes will be tallied and awards will be presented in the early afternoon.
