Really neat!

Would original Mongoose reflectors be hot?

Are they tough to find or worthy of listing?

Thanks,

A.G.

I have an old manual that is going to go with a set a set of bars/grips/stem Ashtubula. Its pretty dusty but cool wired on like well, BITD.

Probably, I could could come up with reflectors if I worked hard at it. Just never considered it.

Reflectors were the first thing we took off and threw away, along with chainguards, and kickstands.

I just did not know how far guys went to make the bikes right off the showroom floor?

Awesome bike.

Well, here is the deal with mongoose reflectors..

The reasons you cite, are the exact reasons they are rare. Consider the following:
1. The mongoose stamped reflector came out in 1980 and was around until around early 82, not very long for a production item.
2. Like you said, they were the first things that came off and went into the trash.

That makes them rare, because most of them ended up in the trash.
In my opinion, it would be easier to find an uncracked set of Motomag II's than to find a stamped mongoose reflector. I'm not trying to say they are uber-rare like aerospeeds, but they are indeed rare. And for mongoose aficianados, they are just as important as a mongoose stamped seat clamp. IMHO

Wow. Super nice. Sooooooo clean. Sooooo pretty. Nicely done.

The reflectors are a nice touch. I had no idea they stamped them. And those tires. . .nice.

I've been thinking about rebuilding my first Torker as it was when I first built it up, but those tires and real Grab-Ons are going to be impossible to find and/or waaaaaay out of my price range. I actually had two 20 x 2.125s in red on it for some reason.

Anyway, that's a real beauty. I dig white bikes. Can't wait to build one myself.
