Bob! good to see you here again. I was hoping someone could ID the other hack. They apparently had bad luck as we took them out too. Ended up breaking the monkey's ankle in one race. Not on purpose of course.
#1 Rule at Rancho hacks was that there was no rules.

Another shot of turn one, Clint "Caveman" getting rad, and me taking the low and fast option.

Surely I passed him by turn two, the fastest turn in BMX (IMAO).

From what the late Sandy Finkleman told me, a real low profile frame was great for cornering on a hack.
He told me the White Lightning (a subsidiary of R&R) was a choice frame for hack racing. I would figure
an R&R would be too since it was super low too. I remember Randals, El Cajon Blvd Schwinn had a hack
welded onto a white White Lightning frame.

Cool pics by the way.
I'm in touch with Mario Jeter. He'll be happy to see that photo of him racing.
Isn't the Wheels N' Things rider #30 Don Cole? I saw him a few years ago too.
Funny Rick Chastain cut off. He was an insanely gifted BMX rider. Would love to hear
how he is.
Caveman Clint Guidry!! I remember that pic being posted in San Diego BMX Wheels newspaper.
That guy had some hair for sure!!!

Bob, you rock!! Thanks for posting those!!

Were you a racer, sponsored by Bob Bohn @ Bikesmith back in the day?
Just wondering if I knew you.... Your real name (if you care to post it).
Reilley1 and I are long time friends of Bob Bohn. We visit his shop still

Sweet hack Jeff. I remember that mini hack and the one Uppenkamp had. Glad to see you at this site. Reminds me to go by the shop and say hi to your dad.

This is from 77 I think. Recognize #306? :)
