Always thought BMX riders would be great in the MTB downhill/speed thing.

I guess now people like 401flightcranks are going to try and find those 'one-off' Hutch frames - lol

I think 3rd Gear had Toby's XL24.

Great stuff Steve. Personally, it's cool to hear him say he favored Hutch because that is the ONLY way I can picture Toby in my memory....he'll always be Hutch to me.

He's an extremely nice person as well. Spoke with him at Rockford and enjoyed the conversation very much.

that was fantastic! great job! i've had the pleasure of seeing toby race during the raleigh/hutch period. he is/was definatly a "no fear" type of rider. that was very cool!

Outstanding interview,toby was the man bitd and i to will always remember him as a hutch rider.I got to see him race back when they war of stars,and he was the man on the 24's.any chances of u interviewing one of the anderson brothers,that would be a great one to.
