This is my friend Scott Kanemura's 20" Chromoly Nomura. He's a newer member here (kanedog) from the So. Bay here in So Cal. He was a factory Nomura rider back in the day, rode a standard 20" aluminum frame.
He picked this up from Wade Nomura a while back in it's raw and unfinished state. This was never sold to the public, check it out and look at the serial #, not the normal # 1-150. Thought I'd share and no, not for sale.
And if anyone runs into a 20" Nomura with "SK" in the serial #, let me know.

:24: Ryan...
Scott's frame IS unique...to say the least! The pic you posted of the dropout
is too dark-or there's too much rust-for me to read the serial number! What is it-
exactly?
When did Scott get this frame from Wade? Wade had mentioned there were
a few 'bare,unpainted or plated' frames,but I always assumed they too,would fall
under the numbering protocol used for the steel frames, which was NRP WC 001-150!
It may well be that Wade added Scott's initials to this frame as a means of
'personalizing' the frame for his ex-NRP factory rider,as was often done with other
Nomura frames!
In any case,Scott's frame is a "unique-and rare-piece of BMX history" no doubt!
Regardless of what he chooses to do with it,it will remain so...whether he builds it,
hangs it...or just "hugs it alot!"
If Scott would like to share his frame's serial number with me,please either PM
or Email me-or have him do it! I'd appreciate it muchly!
Ciao,
Bob

That is freakin bitchin. The Nomura's were after my time, but I sure do like them. Just look at the quality of the welds on the dropout. Man that is awesome. How many of these are known?

Thanks guys. This will be built someday. I'm starting the parts acquisition from a list given to me from my friend Scott. He wants the parts on it to be exactly like his old 20" Alum. Nomura. I get to build a bike and not use my own money :4_1_9:
BOMAT 1, PM sent.

Bob it looks like serial NRWC176
I think I like the steel versions better than the aluminum when built up.

You are correct...you've got better eyes than I do...but,at 65,WHO
doesn't? In anycase Ryan has confirmed the number as being on this
frame!
This build MIGHT turn out to be one of the 'better ones' in a long
time! We'll have to wait and see!
The steel-framed Nomuras are unique in their own right-and are
more rare than their alloy siblings! I doubt they ever got the attention
the alloy frames got,but they were 'every bit as worthy'...just ask those
that own or have owned them!
