I think it is inevitable that a trade query will often be met with a cash offer.


This is sort of one reason why to me it almost seems simpler just to continue with the occasional trade offer in "for sale". However, I don't mind a separate trade only forum, it would be a sub forum like the pay it forward forum, I guess.

New member, but I think a trade only section would be cool also, maybe again like the sale forum
site supporters can only post also, and leave it open to more than just bike parts...

Common sense would have to be used, no kitchen sinks, unless someone is looking for one..

I always liked the For Trade section over at that other site--before I discovered this one. Sometimes I wish we had one here. Just makes it more clear what you're looking for.

a trade section would be cool, i guess, but why not just let folks post "trades prefered" or sometihng of the like in the wanted or for sale section?

a trade only section where the mere mention of money brings scorn seems heavy handed and unneccesary. also, it would place a burden on the administrators who would have to police it
