Went on a worthless business trip this weekend but found a very cool Blue Max survivor. I knew nothing pretty much about them other than it looked awefully sweet original to me. Called my bro Don aka: Seadooit and asked a few questions and it will be heading his way. Anyway how cool is this bike? I am no Blue Max / Mongoose expert like I said but it sure looks close to OG to me. Who has input out there? This has 105 ga spoked wheels and blue tires. Are those OG? What does that SN say? Cool cool though eh?

Right on fellas. I couldn't believe it was sitting at a bike shop for sale. I am obviously no Blue Max expert so I had to kind of talk myself into it. Couldn't pass on it though. I have never seen one in person. So what year is this thing ? Is it really an '82? I was thinking later with the holes in the rear stays. No? Hard to tell by the dirty pictures but the chrome on this is killer. I am sure once it gets to Don we will see. Even has most of the reflectors still.
