anybody notice that PM email notifications have stopped?

I noticed that I no longer get email notifications when PM messages are sent to me. Anybody else notice this change?

I wonder if our board version is getting old or something. Could be my e-mail program is filtering them now, I guess, but I don't find them in the spam folder either.

Can anyone help me pinpoint when this began? It happened while I was away for a few weeks it seems. I think obviously it is a useful feature for many of us.

I've never had that option turned on. I could never understand why it would be used....as soon as I click on OS in my favorites, all my PM's pop right up.

Am I missing something? I'm curious.

It just e-mails you so you know you have PM's. If you aren't on the site at the time... that can be handy.

Steve, I was gonna ask about this. I even checked my controls to make sure it was on.Happened damn near the same time you left.

Last email alert I received was on Nov. 8. Got a PM a day later with no alert (unless I deleted it). I have PM's as recent as 2 days ago with no alert.

I bet it was that keep_it_warm guy, rifling through the admin control panel after I left :ROTFLMAO:

It's probably board update time. I know some fresh versions have come out but I've been avoiding the issue. I hate updating because there is always something that gets weird and people start freaking out.

it's not a big deal to me, but i just had a 5 or 6 PM conversation with someone and none of them showed up in my email, FWIW.

weird. i just went to unsubscribe to on thread and it shows i have none at all even if i set the time period to from the beginning. what's up with that?
