Many of these bikes pre-date my "BMXing" days, but I can't help but be totally in awe of the bikes and the history of them. :rawks:

These are the types of threads that, even after all the beatings I richly deserve, I keep coming back to this site. Thanks for starting it!

Hi Guy! Welcome to OS! Good to see you here!

Sorry I missed you a few weeks ago! I'll be back in your neighborhood soon!

Hey Michael. Although not BMX, that uni-cycle is cool for sure! Bummed I missed you too. Lemme know when you are back out. We'll have to make a trip out to desert to do some riding. (My mono makes a fun camp bike) All the kids wanna ride that thing when I take it with me

Installation sheet for Matthews girder fork. It's been posted in other threads but not in this, the "Comprehensive" thread!

Plus I'm trolling for a little more Matthews love...

Take note in post #6 of this thread how the TR-1 in the ad has no "third tube" between the seat tube and head tube like the bare frame in the product preview. My TR-1 has this third tube as well. Heres another TR-1 fun fact. the TR-1 not only has a double top tube and a double down tube, but each top tube seat stay chain stay and down tube are formed from one piece of tubing. Starting and ending at the head tube. The down tube makes it's transition into the seat stay by passing under the bottom bracket. remember this is years before the STR-1 prototype made by SE

Nice! Thanks Sod. I hadn't noticed the top and down tubes were the same tubes. I like the fore and aft bottom bracket gussets. Similar to an A&A.

Do you know the differences between the TR-1 and the TR-2?
