Just want to give a shout out to Derek ( dewabo ). I bought a Quad frame from him on ebay ( did not know who he was at the time ) a couple three months ago. When the frame showed up it had a cut in the seat tube ( stuck seatpost we think ). Anyway I contacted him about the problem as well as Rod for a repair price. Myself and Derek worked out a refund and all was good. Shipped the frame to Rod only to discover that the frame had been broken at the headtube at some point in it's life. Rod quoted a repair price and again Derek took care of it within reason. He could have very easily told me to go F myself, but that was far from the case. He is a true class act and the kind of person that makes this hobby what it is and should be. Sorry for the long post, but I think this is what gives " Now this is a member you can trust " it's true meaning.

yup ! derek is a good one . i just bought a JMC from him . he was super cool and shipped it quickly .even pm ing me to make sure i got it ok and was happy .

I had asked Derek about some Rough Rider bars he had listed for sale, but was too late and missed them. Months later out of nowhere, a box shows up on my door with a NOS pair of black Rough Rider bars!

I was floored to say the least! I need to find him something killer, it's awkward being on the receiving end of such a generous gesture. Man I love these bars!

Searching through the G.E. section, I was reminded of all the Class A, Stand Up members here... gotta send "dewabo" up to the top of the list.
