Peterson was highly underrated. Huge talent but never made it big. He was a class guy. Great balance!

Rick - Thanks for the kind words and thanks to the rest of everyone else on the forum posting positive "Old School" thoughts.
I have to admit, I've been a little quiet with my online BMX presence, but I'm doing extremely well and enjoying life to its fullest. My gorgeous wife and four active children keep me busy, but I still pull out my Schwinn Flatland Pro once a year for a block party or a Cubscout event.
I was honored to cheer for Woody as he was inducted into the BMX Hall of Fame in 2010. It was the first time in several years I had seen any of the veteran freestylers. I wore my “Rad – The Movie” jacket and mingled with the old crew. I even received a reassuring hug from the God of Freestyle himself, Bob Haro.
Here is a slightly outdated photo of my family. We currently reside in Carlsbad, CA. I pay the bills with an awesome role in Business Development for a global software company.
Stay positive everyone

Great to hear you're doing well Robert.
Hope you can pop into the site from time to time and share any of your thoughts, photos, or experiences with us. I know a lot of us old flatlanders really looked up to your style and approach to the early freestyle community - even if just through magazines and shows.
Many of the veteran Freestyle Pros have sang your praises on this site for years, too.

Thanks for checking in Robert. We have a regular Sunday ride around your old stomping grounds in Mission Beach. Let us know if you ever get the itch for a boardwalk cruise.

Hey Robert, it's good to see you here posting and I'm happy to hear life is treating you well. It was good times back then with friends and great times today with family. Looks like you have done very well on both fronts. Woody.
