Man Coasty you got some serious air back in the day!

I dig that bowl.. especially the AC/DC grafitti there in Australia where they originated.. did you guys know at the time how internationally huge AC/DC was or did y'all consider them a local talent?

Thanks mate. We tried our best for 1981. This was one of two skateparks in Sydney. Nobody rode bmx in parks down here then.
Ac/Dc were legendary but not huge overseas really. It was about this time that they took off ! Seeing them live is unbelievable.
As a side note my best buddy became an electrical engineer about 3 years after this pic. He phoned me one day to ask if I knew anyone in the music industry named "someone Young". I replied Angus or Malcom? "Yeah Malcom" he said. "I'm fitting a security system to his house and his kid in running around with a mini guitar. There's gold records everywhere"
He never was a fan.
