Whats up man. Can you tell me the story on that frame Suicyco? I have Exactly the same thing except my seat tube looks like it was broken off leaving an just an inch left. I bought off the bay a few years ago but the owner didn't know what it was. Does your BB look like it's shifted to the left a couple millimeters? Yours is the only other one I have seen and now I'm dying to know what it is. I'll post a pic when my camera usb cable arrives. What you putting on her?

Ralph

Wow! then you got quite a score, these are very rare. Let's see some pics when you get a chance..

PS: Sui, did you have a chance to see if the BB shell looks slightly shifted? Also do these have serial numbers anywhere?

Mind if I ask what the serial is and does it have a 1" OD seat tube?

Should be 13/16 like mine. Go on cycbmx.wordpress.com and on the right side click 1977 they got scan for the 77 catalog but no color pics. It's actually called the Ames Limited Edition.

Cool, thanks for posting that. Since I can still see the outline of the old stickers I'm pretty sure mine is a CYC Ames. My Headtube outline is way bigger and the downtube and seatstay stickers are shorter and I have a 3 number serial on the BB. That CYC site is helpful and confusing. I can't wait to see yours done man. That rootbeer brown?

Hey Perry,
Nice frame indeed. Were there any early connections between GT and CYC BITD? Also, do you have a component list yet? Can't wait to see the progress. Cheers.

CYC would sell anything they could get to sell. If a manufacturer would send the frames CYC would sell them. In late 76 early 77 CYC was closing out squarebacks for redline!
