1984 Venice Beach contest with Vander and Hasoi
That was the first time I got to meet Vander and Maurice being a Curb Dog member from Minnesota. Vander had so much energy and unique take on Freestyle. Got to ride with him at the Pipeline and he was blastin' six foot flyouts to coaster hops...thought his coaster would become a freewheel.
Awesome times and Dave is missed, RIP.
