It isn't the new site that keeps people from paying attention to the name of the thread, or then not being able to spell S-t-o-u-t-s-e-n-b-e-r-g-e-r.

It could be genetics though, so I hope you're giving your parents as much hell as you give me.

Sorry Steve,

I runs in the family, mostly from My Mom (Doctor, Professor, Mom)

I'm Having a harder time findind stuff, for example the "Mel thread".

if you don't know spell S-t-o-u-t-s-e-n-b-e-r-g-e-r. your not going to find it.

I was trying to find the "OS-BMX pic-of-the-day" thread. I tryed with the dashes without dashes, advanced ect.. no result.
(maybe my fault, for putting dashes in the title in the first place)

so, what I did before... I would click on the old school tab... scroll down a page or two.. and find it that way.

Try setting the forum to search to "Riding Research and Collecting", instead of "Community Fundamentals", Sean.

I use the search frequently. At the risk of sounding like a crybaby, I never had trouble finding anything with the old search engine. I can't say that about the new one. Honestly, the new search is frustrating to put it politely. This is the third time I've said it, I'll shut up about the subject now.

I took the search off of the "recommended" search setting that is the default with the board. It works better now I think. I had briefly changed the name of the thread to test some things... but now it's back to what it was.

I'm sure the search setting change will be terribly unsatisfactory to some.

For every change we make (even for the better) it seems to upset someones fragile little comfort zone. I don't think the last sentence was at you.
