Sweet video of my home track and local bike shop--K&G Bike Center. Four parts with coverage of the Haro trick team, Stu and more. Thanks to J-Rad for converting it from VHS and posting.

What a smorgasboard of cool old bikes. Although I didn't see a single GJS, so I question the thoroughness of the reporting. :-). But, Torkers, Redlines, Robinson, PK Rippers all in there, even an OM Flyer!

But wow, loved the footage. Stu and Bob Haro with something more than a sound bite. Super cool. And Bob Haro commenting on skateboarding "dying out" in San Diego.

Thanks Michael!

Mark, a wrecked GJS is in there LOL :) the fallen Whitman's (Blk&Orange Vera's) rider ...part 2b at 6:55 that is Tom Arnett and Charlie Danishek (DK founder) helping him back up. Charlie is also racing in the 26" moto!

This is good stuff, it's taking me forever on my internet connection but I'm on the 3rd one and enjoying it. What is this from? It seems like a very legit effort... sort of network caliber, youth programming style.

It was local programing. I remember watching it--I was at the race (War of the Stars) and the Haro exhibition--but I have no recollection of the host or the show. I don't think it was a regular thing. Or, maybe it was and it was for kids a little younger than I was, which was 15, so I never watched it. It's cheesy, like all TV shows and newspaper articles that covered BMX then and skateboarding a few years later.

The Haro show was in the parking lot at K&G Bike Center. The guy at the end telling the kids how to get into BMX is Doug Kremer. He owns K&G. Still does. He also ran the track. Super cool guy.
