Thanks guys,
Glad you like the poster art. I agree - I can't wait to get the shirts made - I think the shape of the design will look awesome on a shirt.

I can't wait for the event.
See you all in California!

There will be a major announcement coming soon regarding the event.

In the mean time... this is what you need to know:

The date of the event is June 5th, 2010

** It is a reunion of old school bmx connoisseurs and a bike show with awards.

** There is also a freestyle demo featuring legends of the sport shredding quarter pipe ramps, box jumps etc.

** The gathering will open for set up at roughly 8 or 8:30 am on the morning of June 5th.

** It will go on until roughly 4 or 5 in the afternoon. There is no fixed closing time but things start to die down late afternoon.

** There will be an event package that goes on sale in the next week or so. It will allow you to enter bikes in the competition, get an event ID laminate, get an event t-shirt, some raffle tickets, the event poster and that sort of thing.

There is no official hotel for the event. People are scattering all around the greater Los Angeles area in accord with the way they want to spend their time when they aren't at the show.

We will try to maybe come up with some unofficial suggestions next week.

Please bear with us a little longer for more detailed information to be forthcoming. Suffice to say... if you are in Los Angeles on June 5th - you will have a remarkable and memorable BMX Experience.

Please... if you were kind enough to post the the event graphic / poster somewhere, please remove the old version.

The new BMX Society - Old School BMX Gathering @ Bellflower BMX poster has been embedded here.

Help yourself, and please help spread the word. Facebook, Myspace, Twitter... other sites, whatever.
