Anyone know the year Terry Cable came on to the BMX scene?

You know, Claude... it might have even been earlier. We'll have to do some digging. Of course they came from an MX context... but as far as when they started marketing and packaging specifically for BMX I'm not sure, but it just seems like it might have been a bit earlier than 81. I can't say for sure though.

Related subject.... Does anyone know when Terry Cable Power Cranks came on to the scene?

I just picked up a set.
I'll get some pics up soon, they're definitely a different animal. They use a Snap-"C-Ring" (similar to Hadley/Techmatic bearings) to keep the Spider/Sprocket attached the arm.
