These are pictures of a friend of mine and his brother. I have been hounding him for a long time to scan the pictures for me so I could post them here. Some history on them is he raced for a bike shop here in Phoenix call Ye Olde Bike shop(I think later it was named Steady Pedaler). It was located at 19th Ave and Union Hills. His brother raced for the Swiss American team. They have been in business since 1977 and are still around although now they are mostly road and mountain bikes. The owners and son of Swiss America are good friends of mine and I have known them since I was a kid. I am not sure where the bike shop photo was taken but the frames below the Schwinn sign are Cheetah Competitors. This is what my friend raced and he was able to come up with a NOS frame to redo like his childhood bike. I can try and answer any of the questions you have. Most of these were way before my time! Enjoy!

I tried to attach the file but all of the pictures were put together on an Adobe attachment and I can't open it. Can someone help me? These pictures are really great.

I deleted my previous post by accident, anyway you may need to covert the pics to jpg and try again. I sent you a pm with my email in case you can't get it. Maybe save them in paint and then upload.

If not, look into this, I have not used it but it might be a solution.

Jake, thanks for the offer. I emailed the file to you. Maybe you will have better luck than I did.

Thanks guys! It was worth the wait for me too! It took my friend almost 2 months to send these to me! It is cool since the Swiss American shop has always been my home shop and they are still in business. Some really good people own it and they let me have full use of the shop and tools.
