I have looked all around but no luck. Does anyone have good detailed pictures of Brent or Brian Patterson's PR200 race bikes or a parts list breakdown? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Depends on what era. Early (83 or late 85-86). There were different components used in different years.

I think they always used A'me grips, and Diacompe MX1000 brakes, and Profile cranks, but the rest changed.

I would say 83', I saw a decent side shot of one of the PR200's but all you could see was that there was chrome hoops. :ROTFLMAO:

Here's what I do when I want to research something.
1. Go to the Johnny Ringo site (like someone already said).
2. Download several magazines from the time period in question.
3. Open the pdf's one at a time and do a fast scroll through each one--fun excercise
4. Race coverage is everywhere in all three brands of magazine (you might even get a product review)
5. When you find a Brent or Brian pic (they are everywhere), zoom in to the pdf and take screen shots. Zoom in tight for parts sots.
6. Crop and name these screen shots
7. Instant Patterson research archive
8. Now you can share them in a thread instead of hoping for the work of others to help you.

Can't wait to see the pics.

not what you are looking for, but I love the color saturation on this shot. Bob Osborn ftw.

Not looking for someone to do the work for me. I have seen all the pics posted and I definitely appreciate the replies, I was mainly hoping someone knew of a specific issue or a link that gave a breakdown of one of their bikes or showed a detailed still picture like you see in a lot of the old Profile ads. I wouldn't have posted here asking for help without trying to do my own research 1st lol.

Jays24, Andy Diamond has one of the best PR200 team replicas built. He was very particular in putting it together with components the Patterson brothers used, including A'me grips, Zeronine plate, and GT hubs (they used GT hubs late 83, early 84 from memory)

To me, some parts belong on a Patterson, and others dont. I know Andy ia the same way, as he went through all the magazines studying the bikes, and it took him a while to find all the correct components. He did it really well.

Finally! I just found the article in the Jan of 84' BMX Plus magazine! Thanks for all the help guys! I might make a few changes to it if I can find the parts. :Liv2ride: Apparently you could build an exact replica of Brent or Brian's bike for $625 back in 84', anyone own a Delorean? :ROTFLMAO:
