As you guys know, we have ABA regular racing in the morning, followed by sidehack racing and an old school race.

There will also be some practice lap time.

If you are an ABA member, you can race the ABA single points race in the morning with the normal sign up fee, etc.

You can ride the other events at no additional expense if you choose.

People who aren't ABA members can ride the track. You have to pay $8 and wear all the required safety equipment as you would with ABA racing.

That means HELMET, LONG SLEEVE SHIRT, LONG PANTS.

Everyone will be required to sign a waiver. There will be a sign up table for the track at the event site.

Location: Bellflower BMX

9030 Somerset Blvd. Bellflower, CA

(Somerset Blvd., - Formerly known as Compton Blvd.,)

The Old School Race Rules:

The bike must be from 1992 or earlier. It should be a 1 inch threaded bike. Preferably 20 inch, but we will consider cruisers.

Racers can be any age.

You must follow track criteria with regard to safety equipment and track use fees. (see above)

Whew. My 92 Holmes just made it. I'll be racing old school for sure, possibly sidehacks, remotely possibly ABA race. Looking forward to it!

yes, there is a chance... but it would be good to have a 20" just in case.

Last year it was a mixed class... obviously it would be ideal if everyone was riding the same wheel-base.
We would like to focus on 20"

If people show up with a 93 or whatever... we'll roll with that. Mainly we are just trying to keep it old schoolish, so if it's 1 inch threaded head tube, and about 20 years old give or take a year or 2, that's cool.
