NYC BMX ride July 9

I'm just spreading the word. Quinonesm is organizing another bmx ride through NYC on July 9, 2011. He's got a topic started over on the museum. We're meeting at South Street at the intersection of Peck Slip, near a bar called Paris Cafe. The address of the bar is 119 South Street. Last time we met under the FDR, I assume it'll be the same this time. It'll be hard to miss a big group of bmx bikes in that area. Plan to meet from 10:30 to 11am and we're gonna take off at 11:15.

Cool, congrats Andrew! It would be cool if you could make it, but totally understandable if you can't.

Dang, sorry I won't see you on this one Matt. I'm always up for a ride, let me know if you make it to NYC this summer.

It was really Marcus' ride, but then he hurt himself and couldn't make it. It was a fun ride, I think we had 34 or 38 bikes out. It was pretty chill and the weather couldn't have been better. Maybe one of these days we can do another one, maybe a bmxsociety "locals" ride.

That sounds awesome scott.
In the 30s is a good number of people, but not too much.
I'm pretty much over the whole (Get 1050 people on bikes) thing... It's too hard to manage. I'd rather get a good group of people who really want to ride and can keep up with each other - together for a realistic cruise and hangout.
You'll have to make it down to Philly this year.
(hope there's no RC race the same day again).

Sorry I missed out--had the cruiser ready to go and then, wouldn't you know, my wife's water broke saturday at 8:00 am and it was hospital time. Baby is happy and healthy. Catch you guys next time.

Matt, I definitely need to ride Philly. When is the ride this year? I think the r/c race is usually around the 20th of September.
Todd, the one time I go for a ride and forget to bring my camera!
I always take my camera, well almost always I guess, lol. D'oh! Some of the guys posted some pics over on the museum.
