VDC Handlebar question

How do you tell the difference between the new (re-production)ones and the ORIGINALS? Thank you in advance :wink:

the new ones look they were made @ 5PM on a Friday. Maybe it's the Scotch but symmetry is not a major concern apparently.

The new school one has a smaller top cross-bar that slips inside the handlebar grip area. I hope that makes sense?

like the center of the crossbar is smaller in diameter???????

Opposite, the grip areas look like they slide into the crossbar if I remember right.
