That looks like Joe Franklin in those three Yarnel pics for sure Steve. I posted a picture of my bike on the "First Decade BMXERS" page on FB with a link to this post. Where upon Mel (that jumpin' fool.) Stoutsenberger Promptly identified the "unidentified M&L racer" as Ted Guilmette. Thanks Mel! Now I need to go back and edit that post and give Ted his props.
That pic He was referring to was cropped down from this pic of Mel jumping his Schwinn.

Thanks Sod.---sam
Happy to do it Sam. Good to see you here. I knew I'd get it figured out sooner or later. For those that do not know Sam owns a tall frame M&L with original paint and frame stickers. It is the one I have refered to in the past in some of my M&L postings as "the Texas bike".

Jack once said we should get together and show our bikes sise-by-side.
maybe someday I'll get out your way.Maybe more will show up now that you have them De-coded.
BTW--when I first got the bike ---on one of the old BMX sites--don't remember which---the mod. told me he found an M&L add in a 1975 mag that's where I came up with the year---the add must not have given much info as he never gave a scan of it or any more info.

Well there is a show coming up in June Sam. This site puts it on, it's a good one. You might want to think about coming out for it. I haven't seen or heard anything from Jack in quite some time though. But we could have three M&L's together with yours Donnie's and mine.
