Easy guys! No conspiracy goin on here.. I am TheBicycleSource on Museum

The swap is all Steve Brothers, I apologize for not posting an update here, I was under the impression Steve (Brothers) was handling the updates here.

I didnt think it would be an issue posting it on Museum?? If Steve Brothers feels it's inappropriate to post the event on other sites I will delete the thread.

Problem solved..

It's not a problem, Steve. But, I just wasn't aware of the bbq/ride that was posted there. If you mentioned that to me, it didn't sink in some how. So, when people asked me about it, I couldn't give them an answer.

I usually have Donnie & Larock help me with getting the word out. And by "help me", I mean they pretty much do it. Donnie has been quite fastidious in promoting it elsewhere. When that thread was deleted on the museum... and nobody here knew anything about the events mentioned over there in your thread... and they checked in with me and I didn't know anything about it, the implication seemed that other arrangements must have been made.

Also, the swap meet is the product of this site and it will be better promoted as the event grows. it's in it's infancy and I am fully supportive of growing it into a premier event presented by BMX Society.
Steve Brothers has my full support and complete access and use of The Bicycle Source to host this event as he sees fit.

The unfortunate thing is both Steve and I have been busy with our personal sides and have not been able to spend time on properly promoting the swap meet, I am now in a position to do that.

Ya, the BBQ and Ride was my deal. I was hoping to try and plan it but havent been able to spend much time on it and I don't think it's going to happen in time for the next swap, BBQ possibly but the ride requires more planning. It was not my intention to plan it without you, just havent had time to get with you thats all.
I am in a much better position now to be able to get with you on this stuff.

Sorry creating drama, totally not my intent at all.

So... after talking with Steve, looks like 21st is the date.

Blackey is providing a keg for BMX Society members only. Everybody else gets a cup of dirty dishwater.
