Believe it or not the BMX Society's annual Reunion & Show planning has begun for 2012! The plan is to bring you guys the biggest and best old school BMX culture event on the planet. Attendance has been great, the bikes have been beyond spectacular, coverage in the media gets better every year but the one thing we really need for 2012 is sponsors! So I'm issuing a call to all the brothers and sisters of BMX Society to help out. If you have any connections with companies small, large or in between that might be interested in being part of a great event please pm and let's talk. We need everything from raffle prizes ( I know you guys were bummed we didn't do one last year) to premier sponsors who want to cover the place with banners and really get their name out at the event. Even if it's a long shot let me know your idea and let's see what we can make happen. Thanks in advance for supporting the site and the event.
I wanted to take a second to give a big thanks to Oakley who came through last year and gave us some great prizes and support to make the show even better. I know our members are very loyal to the companies that support BMX Society. Make sure to put Oakley on that list.

In a few more years we ought to hit up Viagra, Great Looking Gray, Centrum Silver and Flowmax (or whatever that leaky prostate drug is.) Think about it. Who has more dough than the pharmaceuticals (and oil companies)?

Viagra! That's a great idea. A buddy slipped me one of those on my wedding night. I was pretty well in to a bottle of whiskey and only have a spotty memory of the rest of the night. However my wife still walks with a bit of a limp and cries when she smells whiskey so I guess it did the trick...

Maybe we could get some support from some of the new school bike companies?
Rick from Standard Bykes used to ride for Hutch and builds new Trick Star frames on request.
Maybe Hoffman bikes as well.
Matt was at the show in 2009.
Maybe Woodward could contribute somehow.

The Bicycle Source will be providing the awards again, also we are hosting the after party at the shop. I'll see what else I can offer up.
