I first became a huge fan of Dee Snider while he fronted the band Twisted Sister. In the early 90’s I remember reading reports that Dee Snider had started racing cruisers. After I started collecting I learned Dee started racing because of his son Jesse and they both were regulars at the track in Corals Springs Florida. Besides being the front man for one of the more popular hair bands of their time, Dee was also quite talented on a bmx track. Chris Moeller the owner of S&M bikes decided to sign Dee and to produce a signature frame for him that would be essentially be a 24” Holmes. The frame would be named after Dee’s new band Widowmaker. Thee Widowmaker was produced in mid to late 93 until 94 and with less than a hundred frames ever being produced the Widowmaker would become one of the most sought after Mid School cruisers ever.

So, I just got this frameset yesterday, so this is it's official unveiling.

It looks like it may have started life as an International Challenger cruiser, as there is chrome under the paint/powder, but the finish is old, as are the stickers. THere has been speculation that it left S&M this way, or someone could have had it done after they bought it. Either way, I love the finish, and it will stay this way. I had some of the parts for it on the shelf, the others I sacrificed my Profile Rocket cruiser for. I'm so stoked to finally have an S&M cruiser again!

ODI Longneck grips
Redline half-wrap flight cranks
Robinson seat post
Shield seat
