Reason for edit:: I hate seeing a post likes Greys turning into a Jerry Springer event. Some posts were set invisible by the staff which was a mistake. We don't do that so I brought them back to life and created a thread for you guys to bash away at each other.

Where do you see that i have bad intentions buddy? I am merely stating my opinion in a polite way! Is that so wrong of me to do? Hey, when the dudes where saying Hercules made negative comment, it was probably about this comment, the size of the top tube!!! Which I actually find amusing as hell, think about it, we all do it. Comparring top tube lengths like it was a schlong size, " Hey, mines bigger!!" Or "his is small!" its actually funny, when you compare thoughts....
I personally only build bikes with at least 18" top tubes, but its due to my size really. But in my brain, I will not build anything smaller, and I have suffered from this. I could have allready built a Kenny Roberts, or a Schwerma Champion, or other mid 70's treasures I love to look at. But I dont, due to that shrunken top tube!!! I am 6 foot 1"...But thats my loss, as I deprive my collecting from such great frame sets....
Anyways, I reread this whole thread, and see no harm in Hercules comments anywhere...
About the bike, every monoshock bike I ever sat on had short top tubes, which was common in the mid 70's, as BMX was still mostly a kid sport. Most adults where not racing then, and the bike sizes available reflect how young our sport was then. So, this bike, being an actual Mongoose, is really possibly a one of a kind find, and a milestone in BMX history. A true reminder of how kids bikes, became race bikes, and then it all became a sport. So many years ago..

Get yout facts straight Brian! I have only ever been 'booted' from one site, and that site is ozbmx where your mate Brisben is Management or should i say a Power tripper who thrives on provoking certain individuals! He along all your other Aussie mates are a click. If you do not bow down to there dictatorship mentality & defend yourself you will be banned! Ironic that i have only ever had issues from your 'long time friends' & nobody else.. Ask around other serious collectors in Australia about these so called 'respected' personalities & you will quickly find they are not respected but in fact HATED! These people have alienated themselves to the extent that they will not dare show there faces to certain vintage bmx shows in fear of being abused, mocked or even worse!
