Joe's comment about liking Xcaliber Seat Post clamps got me thinking. As I was reading his shout I looked down at my desk and have two of them just sitting there randomly with other things that should probably be put away! What cool shit is just randomly cluttering your desk???

Some people call it clutter. It's freakin' treasure! Nice desk Larock!

Bunch of crap on mine. Trying to go through stuff, and list/store the rest.

Workbench slash computer setup and paperwork looking cleaner today.

Its weird thinking these bit parts are totally cool, but looking over your shoulder for the "Hoarder" production crew.

:)

While my desk clutter is not of the metal and plastic persuasion like you guys have (all that stuff stays in the garage) I tend to dwell more in the 'print' realm.

This first one is on the floor next to the desk...

This is where some of that belongs...(the red binders are BMX Plus)

Great stash of magazines and having them organized in the binders is a big plus. :OSThumbsUpPeace[1]:

Yea, definitely having the mags organized is a good thing. I still need to do the same thing with my 'many' paper publications. This picture is just one of at least 3 boxes of newsprint type BMX publications.

As I changed locations 26 times last year and 32 the year before, having a desk with stuff on it is not on the cards. It's usually just a dining table, outdoor table or other horizontal surface. Before that I used to have a few parts here and there and always made sure I had a skateboard wheel. More fun than a stress ball and could inflict more damage if I was really stressed. Fortunately it never came to that.

Oh yeah, Xcaliber seat post clamps are still my favourite. Must admit to having a copy one on my Mongoose back in the day though. Local shop wasn't able to get the real thing.

Hector, it's time to admit it. We're here to help you. You have OCD.

Actually, in all the clutter on my desk at work, there's not one cool thing. I took all the cool things home because I've had one foot out the door of this place for the past 4 years... Posted ImagePosted Image

Nice collection of ephemera, Dennis.

And as for selling the packaging card from the seat clamp, I would never buy it, but I'm sure someone will. I wonder how much I can get for this box of cocoa pebbles once it's empty? If it was a sugar crisps box with an embedded .45 phonograph recording of the Archie's "Sugar, Sugar" it would not be for sale, mother fuckers!
