VDC bottom bracket - Timeline

Does anyone know the year or timeline of a VDC bottom bracket?

it is squared tapered spindle

any help would be appreciated

I was told its a VDC? Tony, Blikum has one like it on his Gary Littlejohn as well

Definitely a VDC BB. Not sure of the time frame, early 80's is just a guess. I believe Reilley had one on his 80' Sting. They are a cool piece for sure.

Look what I found in BMX Action September 1980

Yep VDC ad showing this VDC bottom bracket. looks like Voris was correct it was 1980-81 around there
