Back in the seventies we had a craze called Sharpies, they were scary mother fuckers that loved to dance and fight, they were kind of like gangs of skin heads but with a skinhead mullet and used to wear platform shoes, with a "connie" cardigan and had some unreal dance moves.

We have SHARPS here in the States. Skin Heads Against Racial Prejudice. They are definitely a mix of different ethnicities. I have a buddy that keeps his head shaved and was beat up by a group of SHARPS at a local gig a few years back thinking he was a racist skin head.

Yeah, S.H.A.R.P.S., Rude Boys, Skinheads, Mods, and Straight Edge Hardcore kids all cross into that territory but nothing was quite like those guys you mention broke.

Ours weren't politically motivated, they were just sharpies that liked to dance and fight other sharpies, or anyone else.
