Hey guys i dont know where to put this so i placed it in this part of the forums. I had a 2011 ELF Pro XL Proto type that was Stolen from here in Phoenix AZ I think that the bike has been broke up in to parts and being sold off. This bike has some hard to get and expensive parts on it The Frame is made out of 4130 Platinum Chromo it is the only ELF Pro XL in the world with all the late models stuff like the Euro bottom bracket and cantilever brakes with the Old school Geometry the SN on the bottom of the Crank shell is ELF 11 meaning 2011 This is the only Chromo Elf made in 2011. the frame was finished in a clear powder coat in order to give it that raw look. The stickers are OG original Red Elf stickers with the chrome between the E and the L. The part when it was stolen were as follows

ELF Pro XL
Atomlab stem
New super lite Blast bars still raw not painted yet
ELF powdercoated black 175 cranks (the only set I have done this way)
Black gusset spline drive
Red profile outboard bearings
Profile 6 inch GDH spindle
black quick release clamp
Black new odyssey pivital seat
black ops seat post
black brakes
Chrome Envy hoops with red Elf stickers
Rainbow Ti spokes
Red Profile Elites
gearing is 39/14
DTH tires
Black bombshell forks
This is the just of the bike
Im a little bummed that someone would steel this but i guess they will steel any thing now a day. please dont get this confused with the Elfs i currently make because the new ones do not have the super long rear end like this one did. This frame is a one off as in there is not another one like it in the world i have an old pic from last year but the wheels were changed along with a few other parts Ill post what i have pictures of though (before your get started the purple seat was not on the bike that was my daughters )

Well i changed a few things on the production Elfs but that is the only one that has all old school angles with the integrated head set and euro bottom along with those brakes.. Im saddened that this one went in to the hands of some low life. i wanted it to go to a collector that would save it.

If you want to plug your bikes, seeing you own ELF, you need to get with s.brothers about paying to advertise. Bummer about your prototype being stolen, but don't turn this into an advertisement please.

.......and by the way, it is "steal" not "steel" when we are talking about stolen stuff. Sucks about your bike. What also sucks is that youve never come here until you need something from us. How can you not know how it was stolen???

If I understand you, you think its wrong for the owner of a ”bicycle company” to have to pay for advertising? Really? Seems like common sense to me, does he give away his product?

I have tried to come on this site and be a member however I remember getting nothing but crap about it. Hence the reason I have not returned. So in turn I have only came to this site in order to give information on the scammer that was pulling double duty on here and the museum seeing as how i have the guys phone number and address and to tell people about a bike that was stolen. However if you have an issue with that then by all means please send me a pM about it.

Why on earth do you think I would want to return after getting a blast of crap last time I was here? However this time I'm more less trying to help the members that got burned if they dont get their money back by providing a phone number and address if needed. We will see how long I'm here until I get a blast of crap again.

Huh?? Scammer pulling double duty?? Helping members get their money back by providing a phone number and address??? Im genuinely lost. I thought this was about a bike you built and owned that got stolen but somehow you dont know how.

A blast of crap...... For buying a name of an out of business, previously extremely popular BMX brand to ride the coat tails of said business' success instead of coming up with your own brand, just like John Debruin..... Ya, you are right. Noone here approves. Sorry. Thats just lame.

Hope you find your bike.

You have to understand how some would be skeptical with your intentions here. You start a post asking about your stolen bike but when asked how it was stolen, you have no clue. That honestly doesnt make sense

Can you explain how this bike was stolen from you yet you have no information?

I dont see this bike sold anytime soon unless they are really dumb. Does it really matter how it was stolen? It was stolen and Danb wants his bike back thats the bottom.

Nope, I agree that a manufacturer should have to pay for advertising. It comes right down to the fact that this site is a business and should be conducted professionally as one.

Disagree that instead of the admin politely reminding him in the tread or even in a pm, the admin needs to self stroke his ego by calling him out in the tread in a very belligerent manner.

I believe it was the late, great Patrick Swayze who said "Be nice, until it's time to not be nice". This wasn't a time to "not be nice". Was the topic poster wrong? Maybe. Was there an overreaction? I think so.
