Gents,

I am wondering what sizes the JMC post came in, when i say size I am referring to length.......

I see quiet a few 9" post about and i was always under the impression that Jim never manufactured a 9" post (although I am most probably wrong.....) I know he did the 16" version but what other lengths did they come in, pics would help too.......

Cheers

As far as I know they made a 12", 16" and slant 16" (and the special milled aluminum post they offered with the early minis)

I've seen 9" posts listed for sale before, but personally feel they were altered at some point in theyre history, I'm can't say Jim did or didn't offer them, I just saying I was never savvy to them if in fact they are legit and og from the door.

You could always just ask Jim ya know - its no bother, he loves this stuff as much as we do, and loves to have his noggin jarred, homie is a true gem on so many levels.

I agree, I cant recall the 9" version and often see them for sale.......a tad fishy.

Yeah I firgured as much - I never seen or heard of them till recent yrs - my guess was lightening loads - and many long 16" posts may have suffered the pipe cutter wrath over the yrs. well fortunately they didn't cut from the top, at least, not that I'd buy one.

Maybe a repair ? Some one could have found a cut down one and decided to reextend it and knew it was long but not how long - got pics

I have a slant that is bent and cut - I will have it bent back (but I wont be extending it, still well for use) but I'm sure many may have been cut down over the yrs to save some unseen or used weight. Sadly.
