Much as I wanted that Tuf-Neck & the Crupi modified Suntour free wheel, the complete as a whole was a bit overpriced, but I did offer what I thought was a fair price for those two items.

It definitely had some cool items, the shortened Sugino cranks where interesting, but the $999.00 opening bid turned me away. I have to ask, what is the 'old mini catalog' you speak of?

The catalog that I have is from around 1985 or so. It was a bike company from Oregon I think, that made a small catalog of all mini stuff. Titan , dk , sew-ups , stuff like that. From what I remember you bought a membership to the catalog and it gave you a discount to buy all mini products. My dad picked it up at a race we were at. It was packed with black and white photos of all mini parts with the prices right next to them. I seem to remember that stem or one like it.

Wonder what came 1st-this or the ESP that looks like this?
I believe the E.S.P. 'mini' stem came out first, the only reference I could find on the 'mini' Tuf-Neck above is from this '84 mail-order catalog.
"Tuff Neck - 4.9 - clamps on fork - black or silver"
I'm curious if the 4.9 denotes it's weight?
