it sure the hell looks like them. Does anyone know what manufacturer made frames for panda?

Didn't early Panda make bikes for other companies? The later Pandas were made by Boss. Carlos Lucia designed and manufactured the early Panda.

yes they did this one was made for a local bike shop before they actually made their own frames.

Do you happen to know where Carlos Lucia made the frames?

I looked at some 81 panda pro am frames and from what I can tell it's identical to mine

yes it's a panda. manufactured in nor cal.

member dcbmx1 (darren) does a lot of work with Carlos. he comes on here from time to time. PM him, he should be able to answer your questions.

A Pro Am.

Pro Ams were cromo and had no gussets. This is probably a Raider, Charger,or a Pro Am Replica.

I just sold Brett, BMX2112 one of these frames. It was mild steel but had Pro Am decals.

this one is actually made for FRESHOUR before they started making the T.K. Pro's.

I agree with PandaProAm420. I think it is an overseas mild steel Panda Pro Am Replica. There should be a difference in the welds and weight in addition to the gussett. There is a 24 inch cruiser version of that 20 inch frame.
