Now if I can buy back the cruiser bars I sold a few years ago (like a dumb ass) for the same price I sold them.

Brett found these and was cool enough to ask if I wanted him to pick them up for me. Instead of flipping them for big money, he simply charged me the asking price and shipping. A true score, seriously. Thanks again Brett I really appreciate it. Great shape too!

Killer. I don't think I have seen those before. Might be a candidate for the rare bars thread.

Holy crap! Those are amazing! Worthy enough to build a bike around! You got rid of that blue brand x stem didn't you?? You should try to get that back...I've never saw a set of og finished brand x bars like that! I've seen polished, black, and red...The red and black were more of a matte finish, not annodized...Freakin sweet!!!!

After a closer look, those are the only bars that I've seen without the "nubs" protruding where the bars are pierced...Pics of my pro sized bars for reference...

My cruiser bars had the "nubs" too. These have them as they are pierced tubes, however, just much smaller (not altered btw).

the first bars had the striaght cuts. Also any brand X logo that you see and the X is not symetrical ie: the blue bars, they are early parts in the 93-95 range. The red bars like Mike posted have the symetrical X, or the newer logo from like 95-98 or whenever they closed up.

Jake, I wasn't saying they were altered...I just thought that it was cool that I've never seen a set like that before. They are amazing bars!
Josh, Very cool info on the brand x logos and that the earlier bars are like Jake's!

Awesome bars! Thanks for the info on the logo and the differences in the ends.

Great info and much appreciated. I figured they were early versions based on the logo, rise, and the straight cut. I didn't think Brand X made these bars as back as 93? I thought they ripped the idea from Chad Herrington a few years later?
Mike, I just threw that out there because I was conveying that the nubs were not taken off to inform the non-midschool types who were just passing through. I didn't think you were saying anything negative at all. But you are right, I need a bike to build around them. Or not, just stash them away with the rest of the relics.

Well i meant to say the logo as far back as that not the bars. Im pretty sure the bars came out arohnd the end of 94 early 95. I dont think they based them off herrington. Probably herrington based his off brand x and jad. He used to work for pmc and pmc and brand x were out of the same location early on.

Chad had his bars on that titanium crusader in 94. I have read an interview where Chad has said these bars were copied from his. Whether or not that is true could be argued I am sure. I need to dig up that story.
