I need a few early 80's redline questions answered first off can anybody tell me the difference between an 82-83 mx 2? I don't have the serial number yet haven't seen it in person just a pic with 25 yrs worth of dust on it from being in storage the owner said it was bought new in the early 80's it has chrome handlebars with a straight crossbar? Did redline make bars like that back then all the originals I recall seeing had v bars. It's white frame and fork with red decals skyways and everything else is also red but when I looked for decals on eBay the 82 mx 2 decals kinda look like the 80-81? But this one looks like the mx 3 or pl20 Carrera decals that were 83? So if anybody can tell me is this an oddball or rare? I can email a pic to somebody if needed of the bike, but I don't have a computer just a smartphone any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks mike I forgot I emailed you that, I'm a little sad I didn't get it but I'm happy I get to fix it back up for him so he can give it to his son. On a totally different note did you ever get the 2 freshours the guy had on here for sale? I still haven't heard from the guy with the blue and chrome one yet you would think I could find another freshour since I live in sikeston but so far no dice

My friend Tony talked to a guy who won a freshour complete back in 82 in a raffle the guy never rode it and it's been hanging up in the guys garage, so Tony told him to bring it in if he wanted to sell it he is gonna put it on display at the shop. He is also going to hang up the old freshour cycle shop signs I'll take pics once it's done. Tony also saved me a dia compe mx 1000 brake setup that he took off a freshour somebody brought in. Jerry found some freshour decals also hopefully going to look through them tomorrow, I'll let ya know what I find cause I'm gonna try to buy all that's for sale and I know you'll want some I'll see about getting more made also
