Thanks for the info guys and thanks mike for posting the pic I found it on craigslist for 200 I know the pic isn't that great but it looks good from what I can say so what I'm asking is what's it worth? Or is 200 a bad price? The guy said he use to race it bitd but if so you figured he would have said it was an mcs ad just said old bmx frame or something to that effect

Unless you had one or knew someone who did they aren't such the sought after or lusted over frames - they are early as 78 but the spider is just an expert sized frame (very tight) and made of mild steel (either partially or entirely, it escapes me at the moment)
I left two behind in shops yrs back cuz they werent easy sales and way over priced just because they were old (old and rare doesn't always make exaggerated price gouging digestible, relative market value is established in auctions and relative to going rates, not dillusional sellers), so they weren't worth the trouble.

Well that makes me feel better. I only remember seeing a few mcs bikes at the local track back in the late 80's and only one was a magnum that my neighbor had for a few weeks then got rid of it and a cpl minis so this frame was nothing like a holy grail for me lol this guy wants 350 or trade for a hutch or torker lol yeah ok

Yeah - dont get me wrong, they're cool, just not considered too prestigious - tho in sincerity it should get more respect considering they're influence in the sport so early on and the fact they transcended thru so many eras.

Well it looks to me like the seatpost could be stuck given the fact that I see no seat clamp and maybe even the stem is stuck those can be somewhat of a booger but not as bad as a seatpost as I learned both on my panda were. But it looks like that might be a fluted post but can't tell too good atleast the guy who has it now has better pics.

Btw what kind of stem is that? I'm sure I've seen it before but hard to tell with that pic and since the cap is missing
