Don probably has one of the bigger stables of "Real School" rides out there. All awesome yet, subdued -- not overdone with crazy amounts of high-end parts. It's stuff any paper-route kid with an ounce of taste would have built up BITD.
As off-the-beaten-path that any Rebel frameset is, I think Don balances it out and captures the feel of the era perfectly.

thank you..i have always built em how we would have seen them at the track.most of my friends could not afford flites or all the real high end stuff,including myself.i did get flites for my 15th birthday.my friend also got a prostar the same year.thanks again

i always loved the 24 loops, only REBEL frame i haven't owned...are your forks bent??

nope i think it is just the angle of the photo. i will get it back out and take some side shots.it rides great,i am the original owner and it has not been abused.
