We see a lot of obscure bikes, boutique brands, and out and out oddities here at the Society on an almost regular basis. It's what draws a lot of us here in the first place. That hard to find bike or part brings with it a whole host of lost knowledge and/or leads us to learning something new all the time.

However, sometimes I just get a hankering for the regular Joe's bikes. I like to look at tasteful renditions of the big brands like GT, Redline, Hutch, Diamondback, and Haro. I know they have to be out there because they were such a big part of so many of our childhoods.

Post your big brand bikes. Let's see 'em. I'm personally mainly interested in the early to mid 80's, but it's all cool in my book. Stories on acquisition or build process or inspiration or whatever is always a plus in my opinion.

C'mon -- you know you want to show off your Californian or your Silver Streak.

here's a quad i've had for years that rides awesome. tried to keep it "neighborhood real" with the type of gear we used back in the day.
