Thanks Matt .I am looking for my before pix .
And yeah man I could not let that frame get ruined by someone over there who would destroy that beautifully used finish . I just love the wear that frame has . I have everything to build that PK too !

Jeez dude . I am only taking a lunch break . I am allowed to do that aren't I ?
I am not sure on the bars . They are really comfy though . no down sweep like the Schwinn box bars .
And thanks for the replies . I have quite a few more bikes to post too . I will do my best to get those up as well . All early stuff . ALL 79 and earlier .

Nice bike Donnie! BTW, are you working in a body shop as a painter? Im a Estimator in a shop (for a large Valley dealer) in Van Nuys. In my younger days, I was a painter, bodyman , etc. Again, nice bike, looks super clean.

Thanks guys . I have started putting together a tech thread on how I cleaned the motomags .I am so tired of people either powder coating them or media blasting them . That is not necessary . They were really crusty . And badly stained . The frame was really green with a heavy almost barnacle type build up . I had pics of that somewhere .
Guyster ,
no I used to have my own shop building and painting custom cars and hot rods . But now I paint high end fine art sculpture . It is noce working for someone else again . Now i just paint and do not worry about the headaches . The car discussed earlier in the thread is my wife's 64 t bird i am redoing . I am supposed to be getting it ready for a new paint job for her .
