Nice Donnie!
Thats ultra clean.
(I saw that orig. baby blue PK frame you picked up earlier this week too.... Can't wait to see what you do with that one too) (ps. sorry if that was on the downlow, but I know you'll do it right).

Thanks Matt .I am looking for my before pix .
And yeah man I could not let that frame get ruined by someone over there who would destroy that beautifully used finish . I just love the wear that frame has . I have everything to build that PK too !
That frame was in my posession for quite a long time. I actually posted pics of it here when my friend Brian bought it from the original owner early last year. He kept telling me he was gonna refinish it so I literally drove to his house and took it away from him. It was the start to his collecting. He bought about twelve PK's and a DY and every part he could get his hands on, burned out as I knew he would, sold it all off except the baby blue frame and started talking about refinishing it again. I told him to sell it before he ruined it. Last week he called and offered it to me, I told him I was done collecting and he told me that Donnie had bought it the next day. I smiled for real and knew all was right with the world.
Sorry for the hijack Donnie but that frame is where it needs to be

Sweet Redline ride, I can remember when these first came out, my jaw hit the dirt, I was racing a Mongoose at the time, kinda like riding a Hodaka and the new Husqvarna comes out, Heikki? I feel really old right now, where did I put my meds?

Hey Donnie, "do you know who I am?"
You did a great job piecing that together. All the best parts of the day. All the pretty parts too with the nice shiney mags and diamond cranks with a mag sprocket. Nice stuff!
As was said above, I recall when those came out also. I was between racing the Peddlepower/Rink Raider and my Pedals Ready GT. My sponsor (owner of Western Sports Arama/WSA bike track) had recently added a bike shop/Pro Shop to the track and I could pick from whatever he had there.
I raced one of those Redlines for a bit. No racing shots but here is one of it in the front yard. It looks like I got pretty close to what Donnie built. Boy, my 7 1/2" Ashtabula's sure look long compare to Donnie's 6 1/2" Diamonds.
