Is there room by the beachhouse to park my rig?

If so I will be there, in fact we could load into in on Saturday and take one massive car to the BBQ!

Let me know, but it now sounds as if I will be coming down Thursday night after work (I will get to LA about midnight)

Rick what kind of rig are you talking about? Getting in and out of the park is a little tight. Once all the cars are lined up etc. It is at the top of a hill. Those guys can tell you better than me. IF I can swing it I would like to get out late Thursday and ride on Friday. I know most of you guys like to ride their bikes out there. Be cool to see each other's rides and actually ride them. I am still debating on what I am bringing and when I can get away.

Beach house is like $200 a night and Lexifer wouldn't like it too much. Her sister is in LB, so we wanna be there. I still have to figure out how to get her to say OK to not seeing the big Goth thing at the beginning of May and going to Elysian for my birthday (16th). He he, but we've agreed no more festival gigs, so we'll just have to hope the Cocteau Twins tour the states sometime afterwards. We've seen most of the other bands there already or have no clue who they are. So I'm looking for cheap and LB. Vagabond was tolerable, but we'd like to slum it somewhere with nicer carpets.

Thanks!

I have no problem with chipping in for the house, but I will still be bringing the RV (it has an inmotion satelite system so I can watch TV while driving down).

It is a 40' diesel pusher, with a Jeep in tow. Anytime I leave the house and drive more than an hour for pleasure it comes with me. That is why I am saying that we could load everyone up in it in the a.m. and take it to the BBQ.

The basement will be clean, and it should hold 20+ bikes.

Let me know your thoughts, we would just have to get to the park early.

Rick- sounds like the RV will make a killer beach to park transport! Saturday morning Cruiser King and myself are planning on going to the park EARLY to help Gonzo with breakfast, stake out some prime territory, set up the bikes, and in general get the day off to an early start. I was wondering if I could park my laptop and video camera in the RV at the park as well. My digicam has a small memory card, and i was just going to bring my knock around laptop to dump the camera to every few hours.
Holla @ me again soon,

Mux,
I will give you a call, I also owe Gonzo a call regarding banners and signs for the event.

Drew,
That is why I bring it. It makes a great home base at any event. I was thinking the same thing as far as getting there earlier. If we are early enough we should be able to put it front and center.

He he he, Panda's gonna be the only one bright eyed and bushy tailed for the early park gathering. I hope you WC guys don't plan on sleeping. Especially if you have a rager at the beach house. Panda will be up at 6am and kickin' your butts outta bed. LOL

OK, so I book a room at the Days Inn in Long Beach on the PCH, and my buddy from HB says that's the freakin' ghetto, so someone tell me where the heck to book a room. I e-mailed him back, but I'm open to suggestions. Anyone?

OK, my buddy Ed steered me into the Extended Stay on Willow off the 405. Sounds really lame, but no flack jacket is required. We'll be heading for Hollywood when we get the chance. Gotta take in a show while we're there. So far only see Erasure (boo), but Lexi would like it. Last time we got to see John Doe at one venue and Bicycle Theif (Bob Forester, Thelonious Monster) with Banyan (Mike Watt, Stephen Perkins, Nels Cline) at another. I can't wait to go back to Hollywood. Heh, you should see the stares we get. All the Hollyweirdos can't figure out what Okies are doing at their clubs. Too funny.
:14:
Oh yeah, we're staying in LB because that's where our people are at. Ed, my buddy Jason from college, and Lexi's sister. Thanks for the tip on the private rooms though. That info could be useful for the next guy.
