I'm with you Steve. New Old STOCK. As in a completed product, as stocked on the shelf of a retailer. I think it's safe to say no one stocked tubing other than the manufacturer. At best this could be a new bike made from original tubing...

I think the level of hatred I see for LA outside of here is a little over-the-top. It's as though everyone is all of a sudden a purist who has never done anything wrong. I don't know about you, but I stopped believing in level playing fields a long time ago. Yeah, I know, that's on me--I'm just an asshole. But he cheated to win a bicycle race--he didn't kill anyone. Did he cheat in a field of absolute purists who did everything in their power to keep the contest pure? No. Other riders doped--Lance was just better at it.

What a I see a lot of these days is the cheaters and liars getting ahead, in all levels of life. That pisses me off. Is it better to lose, be poor and unkown because you did the right thing and let one of the other cheaters win? Not so much in our world anymore.

That being said, yes, I think cheating is wrong. No, I don't think anyone should cheat. But if they can't control the doping, than let anyone do it. And I think doping is stupid--sounds like poison to me. That, or don't have the contest. Obviously doping has affected many, if not all sports.

One of the worst things that came of this, that I had not considered until I read it here, was that he ruined lives of journalists. Yeah, that sucks. But did he really do it? Yes, he lied and cheated, but it is our society who vilifies anyone who speaks out on what the majority doesn't want to hear.

I'm not defending LA, I'm just saying he's human like everyone else. He fucked up, and it finally came out. He will pay a price for that. There are bigger douchebags on this planet, who have done far worse, who deserve more anger and hatred than him.

Vintage Chromoly, Although I agree somewhat, if our forefathers had thought that way (about the army crushing any civilian uprising) we would not have a gun problem because we would still be part of England. You never know what could happen, so I don't see a reason to ban any guns using that argument.

If you are right, I will be a happy man. As I posted above, we live in a missinformation society--I truly don't know what to believe anymore. I am extremely angry with the media for putting the sale of their ad space ahead of journalistic integrity and the good of the American people.

I don't see it as "It's our right you can't take them" just because. I am saying the honest, law-abiding citizens aren't the one's doing the murding you are talking about--it's the criminals and psychpaths, and I don't want them to have the guns. But taking the guns from the good people will not keep them out of the hands of the bad people--and then the good people are unarmed.
