  2. Red S&M International Challenger

    Posted 14 Jun 2013

Got the final piece in the mail today. I picked this frame up in a trade a while back. It has original finish, and all the original stickers except the downtube. As luck would have it, an NOS downtube decal popped up for sale on the other site (Thanks Jake for finding it!). It didn't come with forks, but I had these chromo Answers laying around. The bars came with it, but they were cut down. I had our fab shop at work widen them back to 28" for me. THe wheels came with the frame also, they may get replaced down the road. I had the Rainbow Label Comps, OG Challenger stem, ATI Pistol grips, GT seat, Chrome seatpost, and GT seatclamp. THe last piece was the cranks. I wanted the first gen Redline double pinch non wrap flights for it, as they came out right about the time this frame did. Really lucky break, I found the red ones on ebay. Couldn't be a more perfect match. I had the black S&M pedals and JP chainwheel, so I was able to finish it today. I know there are a lot of people who don't like the pads on there, and I am still on the fence, but leaning more and more towards liking them.
  3. Skootstar.....

My neighbor brought this by today, and it is very cool. Anybody know anything about them? It is loaded with high end parts, and the welds are very nice.
  4. Hendricks Bike Works

    Posted 9 May 2013

Found the frame on ebay, and threw it together with mostly parts I had in the garage (Except the wheels, I bought them for it). Still need to swap out a few things. I really need some block letter Slam Bars, uncut, in either black (preferred) or raw, an S&M "fat" seat in black, and a better stem with a little longer reach. If anyone has this stuff and wants to do some horse trading, hit me up!

Anyways, these were made up in Washington. I believe they company is now defunct. It has a 22.5" top tube and is solid as a tank.
