Great interview and a top bloke. Although you had started to lose me with this 70's stuff in recent years
I loved your Torkers which you sold, but seems you are coming good again with the JMC build which is more my flavor!
Seriously, great read and after all these years I hadn't heard the entire story of your injury. What an amazing recovery and then to pull an opportunity to pursue a career out of it, is definately inspiring!
(If you can do all that, we can teach you to wheelie, no sweat) -

Thanks guys, I've also been reading about the TJ II that seemed to be offered in different lengths as well. With some still being made in the USA. Kind of tossing up getting one for a rider.
I have some OJ Judge forks on my Pro Racer and it seems to handle a little sharper than the average Pro Racer, but I read in the magazine test that they have .25 less rake in the Fork Steerer than the Pro Racer forks. Which would explain the slightly quicker steering.
Still learning stuff about these bike 30 years on! Thanks again. -

Don't get me wrong I love my Star bars and they were the pair I ran on this but these are just right for me and seem to work. Yeah I was lucky to get a proper deal from a pretty slick guy! haha
shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I must admit though even though I am a Profile nerd I still ove the feal of real deal OG early 80's GT Pro Bars-it's what I used.
Well Scott, any time you would like another set of GT Pro Bars, let me know as I will happily swap for another set of Profile Pro Bars...baaaahaaa -

That is perfect. Love the colours and can say, in my opinion, that those Profile bars give the best riding feel, big with a very little sweep. I'm lucky enough to have a pair too. Also love the headset and stem combo too! -

I try to go for all old school parts, however on a rider, I use white industries freewheels....after breaking OG freewheels in the past, I'm happy to sacrific OG correctness for the sake of my knees and nuts!
