  1. Original Tim Judge

    Posted 5 May 2013

I was chatting about the original Tim Judge Hutch's (not Judge 2). Can some one tell me what the TT length is? Also, I know they came in white, red and blue but did they come in chrome?

Can't find a magazine test any where.

Sorry if this has already been answered.

    Cheers

So I borrowed a GoPro Camera and strapped it on my 84 Profile cruiser...very impressed with the clarity and simplicity...but the sound is a bit strange cause my chain does not sound like it records...and uploading to YouTube in HD...S L O W....

  4. Finally Finish my Profile 24!

    Posted 3 Sep 2011

After many years and 2 frame and fork sets. I finally finished my 24, which is a reverse colour replica of my 20". I've been using it for my daily rides for the last couple of weeks. Now I know why they are called cruisers....I love it

  5. Deep H Stem - Repro or OG

    Posted 4 Feb 2011

So unfortunately for my wallet, I love Deep H stems, because they make it possible for me to still use my old school bikes because they give that extra reach and length to the shorter 80's TT lengths. So I often troll the Ebay on the look out for them...I'm just not interested in repro/re-issue stuff, it just doesn't sit well with me...

So I find this stem, it doesn't have the JDB Hutch laser etching, it has the 2n1 recess (not sure if JDB versions have that)... the allen headed bolts look a little smaller than my OG versions..The seller says he has the original box (don't think the originals ever came in a box, always a bag from memory). $400 for a re-issue, I'd be filthy if I found that out after purchasing it!

    Ebay

So sure, yes I could email the seller, but I'm very doubtful I'll get a straight answer if the seller has gone to the trouble of polishing off the etched logo. Or perhaps it is OG and I've just outted a bargain!

Not that I'm an expert, but a have little education on the subject, god help the new punter that comes in snaps it up.
