In Topic: Possible Ti JAD with "JAD Stem/fork?"
Posted 11 Feb 2010
Looks like a LRP (Lingerie racing products) stem! They were a division of W&W machine in Houston, Tx. They made everything from carbon forks back in 1993 to stems to brake parts etc. They made 1 1/8 threadless forks and adapters to make 1" threaded into 1.125 threadless way back in the day too. Marcus Williams got into car racing so they stopped making bmx products. Jwalker a member from vintagebmx used to work for w&w machine back in the day and he still had some stems and brake parts but I haven't heard from him in awhile. -

conor, i've got the same feeling about jad as you do. The wife has been urging me to unload some of my jad collection and now i don't feel like having to deal with authenticating my jad stuff built by Mike D. & company in the late 90's from some stuff assembled by a guy in Iowa over christmas break. I like you love all the Jad designs and want to hold on to each piece for myself. If i have my druthers, i'll be able to keep from selling any more while also keeping the wife from getting pissed
