Posts I've Made
Posted 21 Jan 2012I know I have a center sleeve for that. I'll send it to you, just have to dig it out. Shoot me an email at: k20mike at yahoo .com and remind me. I don't get here too often.
Posted 22 Aug 2009Looks like I cancelled at the wrong time. But got sick of waiting 6 months between issues.
Posted 4 Jan 2009I never tried this but I heard this discussion before...i think it was a few years back at elysian: Fill the frame with compressed air (you'll have to seal the head tube, bb, etc.), heat dings with a blowtorch fitted with a rosebud tip and tap around the ding but not hard enough to make more dents. the idea is that the metal memory will pop out. Probably a job for a welder if you don't have a shop.
Anyone ever hear or try this method? Totally BS??
I used to do that on my 2 stroke pipes for my dirt bike. It does work it also might work on the hutch frame because I think the wall is thin enough. Not sure if the chrome will survive or not but it's worth a try.
