Now I agree that some bikes need to be re-finished sometimes. But we have to remember that they are only original once. I match the color to the original finish, repair all damage, spray metal etch to bare areas, feather edge all breaks in the primed area, spray silver base (if candy), color match paint with my eyeballs, add some flatener to the paint and there you have it. I didn't have to fuck up an original finish frame. It takes some patience but it turns out nice. It's not for everybody but it sure beats powdercoating your welds and serial number away.

I do agree. None of my personal bikes are powered I use DuPont centari with a mini sata

    You mean blowing smoke !

What makes you think his Webco is not the original finish?

Looks to be a nasty re weld on the right lower chain stay loop and lots of dirt in the paint.

I'll fix it for ya. It will look like nothing happened. We can even save the original finish. And my name is not The Frame Doc. It's just Joe.

How do you save the OG finish when it's not a OG finish ?

John, this whole thing about, "I was told to fuck off", is knd of melodramatic since you do continue to take part in the discussion. But in any case, as mentioned above after considering the pic I realized that your jersey is a promotional thing for your brand... Which I do understand. Frame doc had posted 3 of the same photo of you, each separated by 2-3 minutes, so it wasn't the typical double post glitch. I felt that was really bizarre, and it colored my impression of the images.

The posting of the 3 identical pictures was a mistake.
Just shows how you guys like to beat peopple down!
